While you know children love participating in the Head To Toe’s classes, many are not aware of what the programs consist of. We conduct all classes within the safety and comfort of your child’s facility, not in a bus or other type of vehicle. We utilize equipment specially made for young children and teach in a classroom or other open area. Depending on the program and location, we offer toddler classes for children ages 16 mos – 2.5 yrs and preschool/kindergarten classes for ages 4 – 6 & up. Beyond whatever program the child is enrolled in with Head To Toe, all of our programs are proven to provide multiple physical and mental benefits, as well as increase test scores and help children focus better in school!

Our Programs
Gymnastics / Fitness
– Toddler, Preschool, and K+ (Ages 14mos – 6yrs & up)
– Classes include aerobics, music, stretching, games, gymnastic skills, rewards, and more!
A multifaceted introduction to gymnastics and all around physical fitness. Each class is structured and includes stretching exercises, aerobics to music, gymnastic skills, games, and more!
We set up mats right inside the classroom, and cover basic gymnastic skills using mailboxes, wedges, balance beams, high bars, springboards, and more. Our games and equipment help develop hand/foot eye coordination, as well as enhance and maintain gross motor skills. These are all crucial skills to improve at an early age. Physical therapists have recommended our classes for the children they work with. Parents as well as teachers have noted the difference our program makes in their development
Soccer Skills, T-Ball, Basketball

While many Soccer programs allow the children to run freely, Head To Toe’s structured Soccer Skills program teaches children crucial skills in a comfortable, safe, and effective learning environment. We find that our students focus and learn better though the Soccer Skills program. Children learn and refine the fundamentals of Soccer—dribbling, passing, trapping, shooting and more.
Basketball is taught in the same manner as our beloved Soccer Skills Class. We’ll learn and practice core skills required at any age and skill level for basketball. With equipment specially made for kids combined with our unique drills and games, we make it fun and easy for kids to learn. It’s an excellent way to stay fit and build gross/fine motor skills and hand eye coordination. It also promotes teamwork and builds individual confidence!
Martial Arts – All Styles & Forms

Activities like Martial Arts are a fun way for both boys and girls to achieve fitness and focus. Some parents may think it also promotes violence, but according to experts that’s a myth. Martial arts actually helps teach self-discipline and socialization skills. In fact, many parents whose children have attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) report great success with these programs because self-control and concentration are skills taught. A typical 1/2 hour class begins and ends with a bow to the teacher, or master. After a warm-up, students practice the particular skills of the art, which may include kicks, thrusts and blocks. Each skill requires concentration and strict attention.
Yoga

Yoga is the practice of accessing and integrating all aspects of our true nature — body, mind, and spirit — in the pursuit of inner harmony. Yoga is beneficial to kids in many ways. Children encounter emotional, social, and physical challenges or conflicts daily. A dedicated and regular yoga practice that includes breathing techniques, behavioral guidelines, and physical postures can be incredibly valuable for them. Yoga is something children can practice anywhere. The breathing, the concentration, the poses, and the way kids learn to act or react to situations, will lead to constant self-discovery and inquisitiveness. Plus, yoga is portable, and no special equipment is needed–it can be practiced anywhere!
A child’s yoga practice is a rare opportunity to experience play and focus without worrying about being wrong. Yoga introduces cornerstone values, such as non-harming, truthfulness, moderation, cleanliness, gratitude, and self-discipline.

Our language classes are a great way to have fun, learn useful skills, and unlock the mind for even more learning potential. Some say that children may become confused when learning languages, and studies now say that this is not true! It is a proven fact that learning languages actually increases cognitive ability and capacity! It’s like utilizing empty space that was never used before. Language with Head To Toe is presented in a fun and structured way, we believe children learn best when they’re comfortable and having fun. We utilize visuals, music, drawing, writing, and more.
Dance & Creative Movement

– Covers different styles–modern, hip-hop, & more
– High energy classes are fun and engaging
The dance class is perfect for getting children moving on their feet! Class features dancing to favorites such as “Animal Action,” “Shake your Sillies Out,” and “Move and Freeze,” as well as learning basics of ballet, modern, and hip hop as students learn to leap and turn across the floor. A game of freeze dance, dance Simon Says, or Four Corners (version of freeze dance) brings each class to an end. Great for all experience levels!
Our Dance program also includes both Ballet and Tap techniques. Each week we concentrate on gross motor skills, such as rhythm, balance, and coordination as well as group skills. Children learn the basics of Ballet and Tap while dancing to fun, age-appropriate music. Ballet curriculum includes, plies, tendus, and other basic positions . Tap curriculum includes taps, heels, shuffles and flaps. We will also incorporate the use of props including scarves and hula hoops to spark the children’s’ imaginations. Students will gain strength, flexibility and confidence!!!
